Echo Church is continually looking to expand the leadership team. We have been blessed by God to have the humble, courageous leaders that we have. Please feel free to contact any one them.
Lead Visionary & Pastor
JonDavid "JD" grew up in Missoula, attended Hellgate High School, studied at Florida Christian College and at the University of Montana. JD, and his lovely wife Lana, have three children, several pets, and three hives of bees. When he's not doing pastor stuff, you'll find him at Blue Mountain throwing some disc golf, fly fishing his secret stream, playing softball or working on his house.
"I've been amazed by the people of Echo Church! We watched our church develop from a small evening worship service to the outward-focused training ground it has now become. I hope you can join us, and learn with us what it means to truly love the people of this beautiful city!"
Associate Pastor; Lead Bible Teacher
Don moved his wife, Marilynn, and their three sons to Missoula in 1976. Using a one-room schoolhouse in Evaro, he planted The Lord's Church. He has been an instrumental part of the Echo Church plant, and continues to mentor the leaders and elders of the church. Don loves to study, play disc golf on Blue Mountain, and hike with his family.
Worship Director & Youth Pastor
Joe grew up in Missoula, attended Sentinel High School, and studied business at the University of Montana. Never intending to land in ministry, he found himself pulled by God - first into worship ministry, then into youth ministry. Joe loves to curl, play softball, watch Star Wars, and cause all kinds of mischief. His Calling has been clear, and he's been faithful to follow it!
"To worship with this family is to touch the fringes of heaven. The soulful expression of Echo Church is found within the unique style of singing, prayer and Communion of each Sunday Gathering. I am blessed to be a part of it. All glory to God!"
Associate Youth Director & Welcome Team Coordinator
Jenn is the Executive Director at CareNet, and is also a single foster mom of two sweet, adorable little hurricanes. She volunteers her time at Youth for Christ, as an integral part of the Middle School ministry, and also at Echo Church where she coordinates events, and assists the youth pastor.
"I love being a part of something new, and Echo Church continues to explore new territory. God bless anyone who works with kids! We need more of you!"
Audio/Visual Director, Associate Youth Director
& Creative Team Director
Ethan grew up in Missoula, graduated from Sentinel High School and is currently studying at the University of Montana. He has been working with Echo since 2012 and also began working with Youth for Christ in 2014, in the Campus Life Middle School ministry. Ethan loves writing and sports, and is a cameraman for University of Montana Grizzly athletics.
"I love being a part of something that feels so real. I want to be a part of a church that really loves this city and its people, and I feel like that's what I 've found here."
Olivia is originally from north Louisiana and moved to Missoula from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2018. She has a degree in Photography from Louisiana State University, loves making and selling metal jewelry online and basically just doing all the creative things! Although, in her free time, her favorite thing to do is hike with her husband, Jonathan, & German Shorthaired Pointer pup, Beulah.
Megan moved to Missoula from Colorado to study at the University of Montana where she graduated with a media arts/graphics degree. She has been creating with Echo since 2017. Megan is always over-caffeinated, enjoys blaring music while she draws, and spending time with her husband and their four beautiful cats.
Echo Church operates under an Elder-led model, as exemplified in the New Testament Scriptures (Acts 14:23; 1 Timothy 3:1-16; Titus 1:6-9). We are incredibly blessed to operate under the authority of these men! Feel free to email either of them.
Having lived in the Missoula Community for over 35 years, we have grown to love the quirky, unique, fun nature of Missoulians. Our hope is that Echo can become a blessing, a place of unique support for this city - ultimately to the glory of Jesus Christ.
